Taste testing- Turkey Longanisa Recipe

I've been testing recipes for a healthy version of filipino longanisa and I almost have it. The first time I made this my grocery store didn't have ground turkey. So I bought turkey thighs and ground them myself with my chopper, as I do not have a meat grinder. I put way way too much garlic, like a whole head of garlic. Which ended up being way to garlicky and was... well pretty disgusting LOL. 

So here is round 2, I did a mixture of powdered garlic and fresh garlic (1 clove to be exact). The garlic flavor was there, but it still needed more salt and more sugar. 

I plan to have my friends over who have never had filipino breakfast. And I'd like to show them a healthy version of it but not compromise flavor in any way.
