Slow Cooker Pork Chop Tiniim (Simmered Pork Chop)

Pronounced Tee-nee-im, means simmered in tagalog. I love this recipe because of how easy and versatile this is. I made this with whole chicken in a slow cook and it turns out tender and juicy every time.

Ingredients
4 thick bone in pork chops (1inch thick)
1-1.5 cup tomatoes (i like using cherry or grape tomatoes)
1 large onion diced
1/3 cup soy sauce
1 tsp chicken broth powder or pork broth
2 bay leaves
1/4 black pepper
1/4 tsp salt

1. Season pork chops with salt and pepper.

2. In a medium fry pan on high heat, sear both sides of the pork chops.

3. Transfer pork chops to a slow cooker.

4. Add tomatoes, onion, soy sauce, chicken broth powder, bay leaves, salt and pepper. I don't any added liquid because enough liquid is released from the tomatoes and pork chop.

5. Cook on low for 5hrs or high for 3 hrs.

6. Enjoy with rice
