Korean Brussel Sprouts
I love the combination of korean flavors with brussel sprouts
My husband actually enjoyed them, which means they are really good =)
Ingredients
1 cup of brussel sprouts halved
sesame seeds for garnish
Sauce
1 tbsp gochujang
1 tbsp gochugaru
1 grated garlic
2 tsp sugar
1 tsp soy sauce
1 tsp mirin
1/2 tsp sesame oil
1. In a small bowl combine all the ingredients for the sauce and mix well.
2. In a non stick pan add 2 tbsp oil on medium heat. Add the brussel sprouts. Turn them over flat side down and do not touch them. Allow them to cook for 3 mins. This will give them a nice char.
3. Turn them over and add a splash of water (about 2 tbsp water), allow the water to evaporate about 2 mins.
4. Add the sauce to the brussel sprouts. Stir continuously until sprouts are well coated.
5. Turn off heat and place on a serving plate. Garnish with sesame seeds
