Oyster Sauce Pork Chops and Snap Pea Stir Fry (complete meal)

This oyster sauce pork chops & snap pea stir fry is an easy fast 30 min meal and only uses one pan. The pork chops are even more tasty if marinated overnight. Serve with rice to complete the meal or eat as a low carb meal like I do.



Ingredients
4 pieces 3/4 inch pork chops
1 chopped garlic
1 green onion (whites and greens separated)
1/4 cup sliced carrots
1/2 cup snap peas

Oyster sauce Marinade: 1/4 cup oyster sauce 1 tbsp soy sauce 1/4 tsp sesame oil 1 tsp garlic powder 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 tsp black pepper Mix together and spread over pork chops Sauce for Stir Fry: 1 tsp soy sauce 2 tbsp water 1 tsp cornstarch 1 tsp sugar 1 tsp chinese cooking wine

1. In a container or a bowl combine the ingredients for the marinade. Add the pork chops and mix till the pork chops are well combined with the marinade. Allow to marinade overnight or for at least 30mins.

2. In a wok or fry pan on medium high heat add 1 tbsp cooking oil. Add the garlic and whites of the green onions. Stir fry for 2 mins until garlic is fragrant.

3. Add the carrots and stir fry 1 min

4. Add the snap peas and stir fry 1 min

5. Combine the ingredients for the sauce and pour over the stir fry.

6. Once sauce thickens turn off heat. Remove stir fry from pan and wipe excess sauce.

7. Using the same pan add 1 tbsp oil, heat pan to medium heat. Add the pork chops to the pan. Cook 3 mins on both sides until cooked.

8. Serve pork chops and stir fry together for a complete meal.
